Tonight, Brett and I will be celebrating Valentine's Day. We don't give each other gifts or go out for a lavish meal. Instead, we stay home and my gift to Brett is dinner. For me, the biggest gifts from the heart revolve around food and preparing special meals. Tonight, we will start with an artichoke shared. It will be followed by lobster, shrimp, asparagus and sourdough bread. I've been working all afternoon on dessert: lemon meringue pie.
I'll be right over! We don't do presents and all that stuff either. Your special dinner was better than anything!
