The challenge for this week was to find corners and then play with light and shadow. I found some corners...
First, the corner of the arena by Camille's pine tree. I love the little alcove created by the tree and the boulders. In the spring the ground will be covered with daffodils and poppies.
Continuing on down to the barn, I shot a picture of the barn aisle corner with the muck rakes hanging in a row.
Standing in the barn aisle by the muck rakes and looking through the barn, towards the house:
Halfway down the aisle, across from the stalls, is an old couch where we collapse on hot days. It's also well used by the dogs and cat. Behind the couch is a piece of fence that we use to hang horse blankets on in the winter. This winter, we didn't clip the horses so there are no blankets. Tucked in the corner, is the bathroom. One of the benefits of living in your barn while building your house, is that you end up with a decent barn bathroom.
What a nice neat barn isle!!!
