Snow - in April - in Southern California

It snowed again last night.  We woke to this:

From our bedroom patio:





From the front porch:



From the front of the barn:



 
And from the back driveway:

 
Yep, the mucking goes on regardless of weather.  Brett told me to get the camera and he would finish mucking for me.  I was all over that offer!

    As I sit here, in the garden, with the sun scorching the Patio.
    I look in wonder at your snow, and feel a beer coming on!
    I add some ice, to the warming glass, as the sun it glints so bright, to look at your photographs, and watch the snow, and am thankful, that here it is so nice!!Lol Brett looks really cool!

    Amazing and WEIRD! I just can't believe you're getting snow. It's pretty, but I know it can't be good for your garden. Very nice of Brett to offer to finish the mucking himself. I think he deserves another gourmet meal!

    WHERE are you? This can't be in Orange County!!! I'm near Palm Springs and our mountains got some snow, but on the higher elevations.

    We are in the mountains between Orange County and Riverside County - at 3200 feet. So we do get a bit of snow - but not in April!

    It looks so odd to see the snow on all the green, but also very beautiful. The pictures are gorgeous. Hope it warms up.
