Time for the monthly check-in and report on my flower bed. But first, we have the most awesome cloud filled sky today. It reminds me of the Skoog Farm more than Aspen Meadows!
The flower bed is starting to fill in with sweet alyssum and snap dragons. There isn't as much compost showing as there was in the March post.
The snapdragons are starting to bloom, the first poppies are opening and there is a ranunculus in the center, hiding in the snapdragons.
Its amazing how far on your plants are! Ours are still hiding! Our Early potatoes are`nt in yet!! Your climate is fantastic!! i want some over here!!
ReplyDeletetotally unfair. we had a nor'easter yesterday and it's FREEZING!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the difference from there to here. Our crocus are still struggling to open. It's as if they don't want to--too cold! The daffodils are moving along a little more quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe had the same clouds here today! Can't believe how mature your gardens are. Sometime you will have to send me an address so I can mail you a couple rhubarb plants!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower beds! I can't wait for our part of the country to bloom!
ReplyDeletehappy day!
Very pretty! You need to come work on my place lol.
ReplyDeleteMy irises haven't even bloomed yet and you already have snapdragons?! I'm glad you are sharing because I have to wait quite a while for mine. :)
