Happy Anniversary

Today is our anniversary.  Eleven years of wedded bliss.  Seriously.  We've worked hard and played hard and continued to build our piece of paradise together in the mountains.  We started out living in a suburb, with my two small kids and a dog. 

Now, we live in the mountains in an empty nest full of animals.

You are my favorite riding buddy.

This year, we added goats to our ranch and you designed a great shed for them.  You even painted it my favorite color, barn red.

We drank good wine and you learned to like tomatoes -- if they are fresh from the garden and roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper.  It's a start.

Happy Anniversary to my best friend, the man who still makes my heart skip a beat, and my partner in life.
