California Color

Thanksgiving is one of the most beautiful times of year at Aspen Meadows.  The trees are vivid gold, orange and red.  Leaves carpet the ground.  The wind blows, the rain falls, and the fire in the wood stove burns merrily.

    Absolutely, stunningly beautiful! We had these colors a month ago. Today we have a heavy snowfall warning :(

    So pretty! Our deciduous tree leaves have already fallen off. What we have left are lots of evergreens such as pinon, juniper and ponderosa.
