My DLCF

Grey Horse Matters took a quiz on the personality of Dusty and put the results on her blog today.  I couldn't resist following the link and taking the quiz to see what it had to say about Winston and his personality.

So...drum roll... Winston is a DLCF: The Reluctant Rock Star.  Don't ask me what the DLCF stands for because I didn't register on the site or buy the complete report.  But, in a nutsell:

This horse has a big ego, loves attention, loves to be in the limelight, but doesn't really like all the work it takes to be there. That is where you come in. You will need to push, persuade and motivate every inch of the way.

Um, yeah.  That's him alright!  He loves to go down centerline and have everyone look at his handsome awesome-ness but he'd really rather not work hard to get there.

I had to see what it said about Jackson, too.  Nailed him!  Although I'm not too sure he'd be pleased about being labeled a wall flower.

Your horse is a ... SLAF - The Wall Flower
Wrap these sweet, kind, gentle horses up and keep them safe. They are not very brave and tend to internalize their worries. They want to please and will try very hard for you, but they can be pushed too fast very easily. They make few demands of you and are quite content to perform the same tasks repeatedly as long as you are pleased with them and the jobs are not to strenuous. Quiet enough for the beginner once they understand what is expected of them.

What did the quiz say about your horses?  Do share!

  1. Well, Flash is a DLCA, a prize fighter, who has very definite opinions, and will defend them strongly.

  2. Val is a god(dess). Agreed that his comfort is of utmost importance... his needs must be attended to. Please don't be boring either, and know when to say when.

  3. Pie is also a Wall Flower, Red is (of course) a Rock Star, and Dawn is (also quite expected) a Perfectionist.

  6. oh that was fun. Irish is a SEAF:
Soft, sensitive, and very sweet describes this horse that will try and try to please you. They like to be told exactly what you want and then have you help them perform it. This is not your go-it-alone type of horse. They need you for support and can get very rattled if expectations are too high. This horse is in your life for the relationship.

    nailed it.
