Sunday Stills: Sports

Sara is our new host of Sunday Stills.  This week, for her first challenge, she asked us to take a picture of sports -- in keeping with the Olympic theme.  Dressage is my sport of choice and, as luck would have it, I planned to attempt schooling Winston on Saturday.  I asked Brett to take a few pictures that I could use for the challenge.

He got a bit carried away.

He took video instead of photos.  And he created a pretty wild fantasy.  But it's a fantasy I love since if I were granted some number of wishes, one of them would be to ride dressage at the highest level and, yes, represent my country in the Olympics.  Of course, reality is that I will be lucky to advance within the lower levels, at local shows.

I had no idea he was going to do this.  I would have dressed the part, had I known.  So here I am, riding in western boots, no white breeches and no shadbelly:


But I got to stand on the top of the awards stand! ...with a muck rake....

    Brett had me in stitches! What a great commentator, NBC needs to hire him for their Olympic coverage!

    Brett has a very nice voice,he could do very well as a commentarist.

    Brett is so silly. I think the Olympic commentators could take a lesson from him. Poop at C!

    Your husband is hysterical. He needs to announce at horse shows! You and Winston look great and he had that poop at C down pat or is that patty.

    So glad you got to stand on the podium and hey, that rake handle is almost gold.

    Brett is hilarious! That's the best video I've watched in a looong time! And hey your award (the muck fork) sure is a lot more useful than a trophy. :D
