Opening Day in Goatland

Brett installed a gate into the fence between the goat and the mare pasture.  This way, the horses have access to half of the run-in and the goats have more room to run around.  When I got home from work tonight, we released the wee beasties.  Brett had closed off the hole in their fence while he worked on the gate.  Pistol and Lucy have already been using their half of the run in.  Brett took the wire off of the goat fence opening and turned them loose.

I'll let the pictures tell the story:

The horse couldn't have cared less.  Pistol turned her head and watched them while she chewed.  Lucy barely looked up from her hay at all.  The goats romped and roamed around before heading back to their part of shed and their beds.

  1. Lovely for the goatlets! And I suppose they'll keep the horse's pasture clean, too.
