Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes

Big changes at Aspen Meadows.
I have a new job.
It's in Sacramento.
That's a plane ride away from here
and requires relocation.
Yep, you read that right:
Relocation.

Deep breath.
Change
Not my favorite thing.

But...
this job means
no more two hour commute each way
on ugly LA freeways.

 More land for the animals.
A smaller house for us.
Interesting work
with an exceptional organization.

Brett can retire.
He'll have enough projects to keep him busy
a very long time.

I start the new job in three weeks.
Initially, I will be in Sacramento during the week
and back at Aspen Meadows on the weekends.
I'll be racking up frequent flyer miles.
It's going to be strange.
Brett and I don't do well separated from each other.

I'm hoping someone falls in love with Aspen Meadows
and buys it soon.
We need to be together in Sacramento.
Me, Brett, and all the animals.

Ready for the next adventure?

  4. Oh my goodness... that's pretty huge! But hey, I can only recommend change, and if it's a bit tough at the start hang in there, it'll be worth it in the end.
And Sacramento is close to my sister! Maybe we'll get to meet next time I visit her!
