She's in heat; that's a big part of it, I'm sure.
And her hocks are feeling good. Obviously.
At feeding time, she races around
This morning, I brought Jackson outside for a thorough grooming.
Afterward, he wandered around for a bit, nibbling on the grass.
Yes, I know he has manure stains on his butt. There's only so much you can do with a curry comb. |
Tex was interested.
But, Lucy was REALLY interested. Honestly, Lucy, put your tail down.
She was straining to see Jackson, with all she was worth.
And, Lucy, put your hind legs together. Stand like a lady.
I can't believe you posted those pictures of me. How embarrassing.
She is shameless!!! I thought my mares were bad. Give that mare a man-horse! LOL. Jackson looks great, and it warms my heart to see him doing so well. Who cares about manure stains! We've all got 'em this time of year!
ReplyDeleteLucy stop behaving like a tart! Although she looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful, all of them.
ReplyDeleteLucy in heat! Hee hee!
ReplyDeleteAt my old riding club, I used to ride a ridiculous mare who was horrible to ride once she was in heat! And of course, they always gave her to me when she was in heat. During the group lessons, she would stick her butt in the closest gelding's face!
By the way, what kind of tree is that with the lovely pink leaves in front of your house?! It's beautiful!
That tree was here when we moved in. I believe it is an ornamental plum -- beautiful flowers, but no fruit. We love it too. It just started blossoming this week.
DeletePlease post another photo when it is in full bloom!
DeleteI'd love to see it! =D
I love this post! Too funny!
