Steve said he would share his photos with me and I have permission to share them with you on this blog. I can't wait! In the meantime, here are pictures I took of the goats.

We managed to have a great time, despite the rain. The cool, wet weather was a welcome change, for them, from the hot Southern California fall.
The sun rising and setting in the clouds was beautiful, the stream sang, and the wood stove danced.
Rain is a sweet sound when you get to listen to it at home! A good book, a fire and a glass of wine...
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice weekend. I love your home, it looks so welcoming
ReplyDeleteThanks, Teresa. The house is a continual project with things breaking constantly but it still makes me feel warm inside every time I come up the driveway and see it.
DeleteBeautiful sunset shots, and goats are always fun! Not sure what the final verdict will be, but we may be #1 for all time wettest October on record. Sheesh! It's been a constant deluge, but we lucked out and had a dry Saturday and night for our haunted forest hike.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting rain again this evening. If it happens, we will have had the most rainy days in October since 1886. Crazy! (in a good way)
DeleteYour place is beautiful. I love your round pen, and I would love to have one just like it. We're also getting rain. October was the rainiest month EVER in Spokane--by a long shot. We beat the 1897 record by about an inch. I guess we all needed it! But two stalls flooded and our sun room.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so green! When it stops raining the horses are going to love the grass. The goats playground is quite spectacular!
ReplyDeleteLove your house and property. The goats have a pretty nice set up. Bet they love it.
ReplyDeleteWe've been having a drought all summer so could use some rain. Guess it's feast or famine depending on what part of the country you're in.
