It's just a great song, period. I highly recommend chickens -- easy and fun and tasty eggs to boot.Oak Creek Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02875705582058188289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-55445430515109372272016-07-19T08:57:02.819-07:002016-07-19T08:57:02.819-07:00The song is perfect for your Cowboy! The song is perfect for your Cowboy!Oak Creek Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02875705582058188289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-9025180951116062402016-07-18T16:42:55.844-07:002016-07-18T16:42:55.844-07:00Okay, you just inspired me to play that song on my...Okay, you just inspired me to play that song on my guitar for my own Cowboy! I found the chords. Yippee!

What a kayak story! Glad you made it to the shore okay, and that Brett was able to row his so fast back and get the car.

Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14303523299217618526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-71730520194419495832016-07-18T16:36:02.147-07:002016-07-18T16:36:02.147-07:00Oh, so sorry to hear of your trainer's acciden...Oh, so sorry to hear of your trainer's accident! I love the Dixie Chicks! I enjoy lots of their songs, but really like their rendition of the Stevie Nicks Landslide song. Bet it was awesome! We are still in a cool pattern, cloudy skies and mid 70's. I'm loving it, but many others are not happy. I'm finally learning to roll with what comes my way...too funny about your chicken! Someday I'd like to have some chickens, have never in my life.C-ingspotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17744931697050670013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-64780346953276072252016-07-16T17:31:00.530-07:002016-07-16T17:31:00.530-07:00Sorry to hear about Sandy's accident. A short kayak with no keel will not track well, and the wind will blow you around. Maybe that was the issue? I can't imagine it was anything you were doing -- they are pretty simple to paddle and they shouldn't spin for sure.Oak Creek Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02875705582058188289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-91699637240919334052016-07-15T11:47:01.032-07:002016-07-15T11:47:01.032-07:00I went kayaking with J last year and my kayak kept...I went kayaking with J last year and my kayak kept spinning out of control, even though I thought myself very good with control. In a still river.

I have no idea. I would peacefully paddle on, and then suddenly whoosh, the thing was spinning. Or going in the opposite direction.

I love the water, I am not afraid, but I have no idea what I was doing wrong.

Maybe you can tell me?lythahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01719586193059362084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964477228579644195.post-46057702739399613682016-07-15T10:55:25.530-07:002016-07-15T10:55:25.530-07:00Hope to see some chicks soon! She will get off the nest when the first ones hatch, and the rest end up dying on the shell.
Crappy about the kayak, but love how you worked together.
